“The world of Schiller is very interesting. As a director, I want to dig into him, his texts encourage fantasy,” says director Ivan Uryvskyi. Mankind has not changed since Schiller’s time, and the very title “trickery and love” contains an intrigue. This archetypal story is a mix of all the life stories that life can present to us.
The Wurm is a tuning fork of evil that we cultivate within ourselves. Evil grows, defames love and destroys everything around. Sometimes it grows in each of us and destroys.
Today, the Wurm is an absolute evil that feels permissive. And everyone knows his name.
But the biggest paradox is that even in the most tragic ending, life goes on, but evil does not disappear either.
